Description

A stacked lineup and a deep pitching staff still weren't enough for the 1934 Chicago Cubs to catch the renowned St. Louis Cardinals "Gashouse Gang". Even though the Cubbies finished third that year, their star-studded roster makes the offered team-signed baseball a great treasure. Decorated with (23) 1934 Cubs autographs, this period signed Wilson Official League model W150C ball remains attractive, despite several scattered surface gouges. This condition has minor impact on a few of the autographs, but generally the signatures are distinct examples ranging ("5" to "7") in strength. A light coating of shellac is evident, and the factory labeling stamps are easily read by the naked eye. Auction LOA from JSA.
