Conceived by Chicago Tribune Sports Editor Arch Ward, Major League Baseballís All-Star Game was introduced at Comiskey Park on July 6, 1933. This scorecard was issued on the South Side for the inaugural installment of a diamond institution appropriately christened by a Babe Ruth home run. The thick stock folding item features unmarked scoring grids with pre-printed lineups. With a vertical compacting fold and penciled notations of the starting pitchers, the Mid-Summer Classic relic presents nicely and is one of few survivors.
