Description

Defying limits, doubts and physics, Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon. While he will forever be lauded for that endeavor, additional praise and honor was the fare at NASA’s Honor Awards luncheon on October 14, 1970 at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. There, Armstrong autographed this event program. The 36-page guide lists award categories and recipients and is signed by Armstrong on the front cover. Executed in black ballpoint, Armstrong’s bold penning projects (“9-10”) strength and clarity. The guide presents beautifully, with covers and crisp pages intact. Full photo LOA from JSA.
