Description

The Holy Grail of Negro League Autograph Bats. (163) players with (122) of them deceased signed this Louisville Slugger 125 bat, including (6) HOFers plus the first (3) ladies to play Negro league ball. HOFers include: Leon Day, Buck Leonard, Larry Doby, Ray Dandridge, Monte Irvin and Sam Lacy. Toni Stone, Connie Morgan and Mamie “Peanut” Johnson were the first (3) female Negro Baseball players. With the exclusion of a very small portion of the bat the averaging grades reflect (“8”) quality. Includes full photo LOA from JSA. More on website:

The Negro leagues were United States professional baseball leagues comprising teams predominantly made up of African Americans and Latin Americans. The Negro leagues of 1951 are considered the last major league season and the last professional club.
