Description

Worn at mosquito-infested Colt Stadium during its brief Major League status (1962-1964), this Houston Colt .45s cap is a scarce survivor from the era of National League expansion. The navy blue wool accessory features “.45s” embroidered to the front center and an orange button atop the six-point crown suspension. The interior leather sweatband is home to a partially detached “Tim McAuliffe” label. The item shows excessive wear with multiple breaks on the bill’s interior.
