Description

Gathered at San Francisco’s Seals Stadium for a 1930s exhibition between Pacific Coast League stars and Major League icons, this Type I photo depicts (20) diamond contemporaries, including Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. Ever the fierce competitor, Cobb is situated at the beginning of the front row, kneeling with just a hint of a grin and, of course, bat at the ready. The keepsake is encapsulated and authenticated by PSA.
