Autograph hounds and photo enthusiasts alike will enjoy the proffered 1930s “Kiki” Cuyler (d.1950) signed photo. This attractive 4x6 photo was taken by celebrated Chicago sports photographer George Burke and bears his stamp on the reverse. Cuyler’s signature presents a fine (“9”) quality and includes a personalized inscription. The heavy stock photo presents a distinct image and is marginally affected by a pinhole, moderate wear on the periphery and small tears at lower left which do not detract from the signature or image. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.
Also included are (2) additional unsigned period photos including a 2-7/8 x 4-1/4” image of Cuyler in a Cubs uniform and a 3-1/8 x 4-1/2” image of fellow Cubs teammate “Gabby” Hartnett. Both of these photos have the depicted player’s names handwritten in pencil on the reverse. Both are in solid collectible condition however they display light soiling and the Cuyler photo has several pinholes near the top edge.
