Well on his way to 11 batting titles, 4,189 career hits and enshrinement in Cooperstown, Ty Cobb was immortalized by the (then) up and coming Hillerich & Son Kentucky-based bat plant. With Cobb’s likeness, facsimile signature and “Georgia Peach” title, the decal has flaked and retains approximately 50% of its original state. The “40 T.C.” indicator within the center brand denotes store model status. More on our website.
The bat shows heavy use (likely on sandlots) with checking about the hitting surface and an 11” layer of vintage athletic tape securing a handle crack of an unknown length.
Also included are (3) (29-3/4”) vintage bats, each with a “Ty Cobb Ball Bat” logo. These store model weapons have flare knobs and show excessive use.
