Description

En route to 4,256 career hits, Pete Rose helped power the Reds to baseball’s best record during the 1970s. These (4) autographed items bring you back to Riverfront Stadium and a well-oiled machine that won four pennants and two world titles during that decade. Signatures average (“9”) strength and include: Signed Photos: (2) Pete Rose signed oversized photos and a color photo signed by Anderson, Bench, Morgan, Perez and Rose; Signed Baseball: an OML Selig ball signed by (8) Reds greats with Rose, Perez, Bench and Morgan. Pete Rose a 16x20 black-and-white print of Rose sliding into home plate as Cardinals catcher Ted Simmons awaits the throw. The photo is signed by Rose in blue Sharpie (“10” strength) and inscribed “SAFE.” Comes with basic cert/sticker from JSA.
Pete Rose framed to dimensions of 26-1/2 x 22-1/2”, a 20x16 black-and-white photo shows Rose at the plate against Pittsburgh’s Earl Francis for his first major League at-bat (April 8, 1963). Rose has signed in silver marker (“9” strength) and inscribed: “Hit King 4256 -- .303 Career Avg – 1963 ROY – 1973 NL MVP – 1975 WS MVP – 5752 Total Bases – 44 Game Hitting Streak 1978.” The piece is numbered 142/303 and comes with a basic cert from Mounted Memories.
Big Red Machine framed to dimensions of 26-5/8 x 22-3/4”, a 20x16 color photo shows 1970s Reds stars before an exhibition at Detroit’s Tiger Stadium. From left to right, blue Sharpie autographs project (“10”) strength and include: Perez, Bench, Anderson, Morgan and Rose. Note: this is a seldom seen photo, as most do not include Anderson. Comes with a basic cert from Mounted Memories. The wooden frame has a series of nicks.

Signed Baseball a snow-white OML Selig ball (grade “9-10”) with blue ballpoint signatures that average (“9”) quality. Includes: Sweet Spot Rose; North Panel Bench and Concepcion (inscribed “13”); South Panel Griffey, Sr. and Morgan; West Panel Perez; East Panel Foster and Geronimo. Auction LOA from JSA.

Also included is a 1973 NLCS program issued at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Stadium (scorecard pages are missing)
