Four decades after their improbable climb from the depths of the National League to a stunning World Series upset, New York and the remaining members of the 1969 Mets are still celebrating. These (2) OML baseballs are respectively autographed by heroic principals of that “Miracle Mets” team. Includes:

1969 Mets Team-Signed 2008 Game-Used Ball used in the nightcap of the Mets’ June 15 twinbill against the Texas Rangers, this OML Selig sphere features a Shea Stadium 1964-2008 “final season” logo stamping. The ball shows the effects of game use and is signed in blue ballpoint by (19) members of the 1969 Mets. Most of the pennings project (“8-9”) strength, though several have faded almost completely (as noted). Includes: Sweet Spot Seaver (inscribed “’69 WS Champs”); North Panel Grote (partially faded), McAndrew, Pignatano (coach), Harrelson and Charles; South Panel Dyer (faded), Garrett (faded), Otis (faded), Weis (faded), Jones and Jackson; West Panel Martin, Gosger, Taylor and Kranepool (faded); East Panel Boswell, Shamsky and Swoboda.
